JOB PURPOSE :

Deliver the Pollys Family Brand Fresh, Friendly, Above & Beyond Expectations by adding Extraordinary Value, FIRST to our TEAM, and then to our Guests Daily, and Commit to Being the BEST.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Takes verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference.
  • Prepares the tables, lays out napkins and utensils, makes sure the condiments are refilled, and performs all other preparation tasks.
  • Protects the Brand by demonstrating menu expertise, identify menu items in Point of Sale System, and able to identify menu items and ingredients for the guests.
  • Serves high-quality food and checks all orders to ensure they are complete, prepared as ordered, portioned correctly, and attractive in appearance.
  • Monitors and oversees food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce the incidence of risk factors known to cause food-borne illness.
  • Consistently exceed Pollys standards and maintain mystery shopper scores of 90 and above.
  • Follow proper cash handling procedures, as defined by the Cash Handling Policy.
  • Must D.W.I.T. (Do Whatever It Takes) to enhance the guest experience, Make The Connection and always maintain a high level of commitment to service standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
  • Promote Pollys culture, standards, and Core Values.
  • Must always be Accountable and / or responsible for your duties.
  • Restocks and clean service area
  • Performs side work during shift downtime including but not limited to rolling silverware, restocking condiment holders, cleaning work areas, etc.
  • Reports to work well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform, and practices good personal hygiene.
  • Able to work efficiently and respectfully with fellow Team Members and Managers.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule; days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

  • Outstanding customer relation skills and ability to ensure a guest priority culture
  • Effective communication, good organization skills
  • Accuracy and honesty in handling revenues and aspects of the revenue control system
  • 1-2 years experience and / or training preferred
  • Ability to act on and solve minor problems as they arise
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Valid Food Handlers Card (if required by county)
