The company
A leading national general contractor is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join their mission critical team on a hyperscale data center project in Arizona.
This position has come about due to expansion of their mission critical business unit.
The position
As Senior Project Manager you will have the experience and expertise to assume a leadership role on individual projects of larger size or greater complexity.
This may include supervision of other Project Managers, accountable for their performance and project completion to ensure adherence to Contract Documents and to exceed Owner expectations.
Also, provide guidance to assigned Project Teams, acting as the leader for these Project Teams in some instances. Duties will include but not limited to :
- Supervision of project teams
- Responsible for projects costs and profits for each project
- Leads PM team to prepare PMP (Project Management Plan) document
- Value engineering
- Project schedule preparation and monitoring progress against milestones
- Organising and holding preconstruction meetings
- Coordination final close out
Could this role be for you?
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field, or the equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of eight years project management experience on commercial construction projects.
- Experience leading large data center projects
- Has experience in demonstrating strong ability to manage complex projects.
- Works effectively in a team
