This person would have mixed responsibilities, including duties in the office (25%) and classroom (75%).
Once Upon a Childcare is seeking an experienced Assistant Director who has a true passion for the ECE field. As an Early Childhood Education Director, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our childcare center and maintaining our "one-of-a-kind" program.
It is your responsibility to ensure a safe and educational environment for all children in care, manage and mentor teaching staff, oversee the development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum, greet and communicate with parents, adhere to all licensing rules and regulations, and uphold the center’s sterling reputation.

Candidate must be director-qualified in the state of Colorado upon hiring. This is a salaried position with growth opportunities.
Responsibilities :

Skills and Experience :
- Experience working in a licensed childcare facility
- Director qualified in the state of Colorado
- Knowledge of the PDIS Colorado Shines platform and credentialing system
- Familiarity with Licensing and Health Department guidelines for childcare centers
- Excellent communication skills
- Certification in child CPR or willingness to obtain
