Job Summary :
We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architecture Standards Developer to lead the development and governance of architecture standards within a healthcare organization. This role is critical in ensuring that our technology ecosystem supports clinical, operational, and regulatory needs through consistent, secure, and scalable architectural practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and Maintain EA Standards :
Define and document architecture principles, patterns, and standards across business, data, application, and technology.
Create reference architectures and reusable design templates to support solution delivery.Governance & Compliance :Establish and manage architecture review processes to ensure adherence to standards.
Collaborate with governance bodies to align standards with regulatory and compliance requirements.Collaboration & Enablement :Partner with enterprise architects, solution architects, and clinical IT teams to ensure standards are practical and adopted across EHR systems, patient portals, and data platforms.
Provide training and support to technical teams on EA standards and healthcare-specific architecture practices.Continuous Improvement :Monitor healthcare technology trends (e.g., HL7 FHIR, telehealth, AI in diagnostics) and evolve standards accordingly.
Conduct periodic reviews and updates to ensure relevance and effectiveness.Tooling & Documentation :ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture Module
Maintain architecture repositories and tooling (EA modeling tools, SharePoint).Ensure standards are well-documented, accessible, and version-controlled.Job Requirements
Qualifications :
Experience with EA tools ? ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture ModuleBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field.5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or IT strategy, preferably in a healthcare setting.Strong understanding of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF) and healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable standards.Preferred Skills :
Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and healthcare data platforms.Familiarity with cloud architecture standards and healthcare data security practices.Knowledge of cybersecurity and data governance principles.Certification in TOGAF, ArchiMate, or healthcare IT (e.g., CPHIMS).Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
