Abood Law Firm is seeking a Full -Time or Part- Time Law Clerk to join our legal team. This position is ideal for a current law student seeking hands-on legal experience or a recent law school graduate.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school OR a recent graduate of an ABA-accredited law school.
- Official law school transcripts must be submitted with your application.
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality.
- Prior legal or law firm experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case preparation.
- Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence.
- Assist with discovery, document review, and case organization.
- Prepare case materials for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Review and summarize statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Assist with client-related and administrative tasks as directed.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client and Firm information.
