Packaging Associate

Job title: 1st Shift Packaging Associate

Location: Liverpool, NY

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

Pay rate: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Associate to pluck, sort and pack or package a variety of products and materials by hand.

Essential Job Duties

The Packaging Associate will construct, line, and pad cartons using hand tools.

Examine containers, products and materials for quality control.

Seals, marks and labels containers.

More duties as discussed.

Required Qualifications:

Reading, speaking and comprehending English – Basic math skills, including counting.

Ability to focus and stay on task with attention to details.

Ability to lift to 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent warehouse, industrial and packaging experience.

History of excellent attendance.

Professional, positive and supportive engagement with customers, vendors and co-workers.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Ability to stand for entire shift, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.

Regular handling pallets of packaged goods

Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
