Webflow Web Engineer

Salary: $95,000 - 115,000 per year
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience designing and launching marketing websites, with a portfolio of live sites you can discuss.
- Deep Webflow expertise, including CMS collections, components, interactions, custom code embeds, and third-party attribute libraries such as Finsweet.
- Ability to write and debug HTML, CSS, and JavaScript by hand.
- Hands-on technical SEO experience, such as resolving crawl issues, improving LCP, or migrating a site while protecting rankings.
- Working knowledge of AEO and generative engine optimization, with a well-supported perspective on effective practices.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience using Figma for design, prototyping, and handoff.
- Daily use of AI tools, with specific examples of tools or processes you have built or automated.
- Comfort working with technical subject matter and presenting information such as GPU specifications accurately.
- Strong attention to brand details, including typography, spacing, color, and copy consistency.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines when inputs arrive late.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain our website in Webflow, including product, solution, blog, and landing pages.
- Structure and maintain CMS collections to support scalable content, job, and partner pages.
- Create campaign and event landing pages to deadline, even when copy is still changing.
- Maintain a consistent Webflow design system using components, classes, and variables.
- Manage page speed and Core Web Vitals, meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards, and QA across breakpoints, browsers, and devices before launch.
- Manage technical SEO, including site architecture, internal links, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, structured data, and crawl health.
- Develop keyword and topic strategy with the content team and turn it into pages designed to rank.
- Lead answer engine optimization by structuring content and entity data to increase citations across AI answer platforms and Google AI surfaces.
- Manage crawler access, monitor AI citation share, and report on pages earning mentions.
- Evaluate SEO and AEO practices against primary sources before implementation.
- Report monthly on rankings, organic sessions, assisted pipeline, and AI citation coverage.
- Create campaign assets for paid social, display, email, and web.
- Design event and field marketing materials, including booth panels, backdrops, handouts, and signage.
- Lay out datasheets, solution briefs, and co-branded partner materials in InDesign.
- Build accurate architecture and infrastructure diagrams for technical audiences.
- Follow our brand guidelines and strengthen them where needed.
- Use AI tools in daily work to prototype interactive elements, create and test design variations, and automate reporting.
- Own forms, calls to action, tracking, and landing pages in HubSpot, maintaining a clean CRM handoff.
- Run A/B tests on key pages and apply the results.
- Use GA4, Google Search Console, and HubSpot reporting to assess meaningful performance.
