Security Officer (OMJ / MC)

Job Summary:

The Part-Time Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing rules and regulations, and responding promptly to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of property and personnel.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, access points, and alarms.
• Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies, incidents, or suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports.
• Assist employees and visitors with security-related concerns.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
• Occasionally lift or move light equipment.

Will be required to complete motor vehicle check, criminal background and drug screen.
