Material handler

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictions
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 10 hours per shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and machinery

Responsibilities

As a Material Handler, your daily duties may include:

• Reading work orders or following verbal instructions to determine materials needed
• Loading and unloading materials onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
• Moving materials from storage areas to designated work locations
• Counting, weighing, and recording materials moved for inventory purposes
• Completing weekly inventory cut sheets accurately
• Assisting with other duties as assigned
