Field Technician

Job Summary: Field Technician

- Perform advanced fiber installation, routing, patching, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Install, rack & stack, and decommission telecom equipment.
- Conduct fiber testing using OTDR, OPM, and VFL tools.
- Execute AC/DC power termination and grounding tasks.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, MOPs, and site layouts.
- Troubleshoot fiber, network, and installation issues.
- Lead and guide Level 1 and Level 2 technicians in the field.
- Coordinate activities with engineers, project managers, and site teams.
- Work independently and lead field deployments.
- Travel 100% to various sites across the USA (all travel expenses covered).

Requirements:
- 3+ years of telecom/data center field experience.
- Strong background in fiber installation, troubleshooting, and structured cabling.
- Experience with rack & stack and DC power/grounding.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
- Proven ability to lead field activities and teams.

Preferred:
- Experience with Ciena 6500/Waveserver, DWDM/OTN, and major carriers (AT&T, Verizon, Lumen).
- Looking for an experienced L3/Advanced Journeyman technician.
