About the Role
Step into a production floor where precision meets purpose. As part of the CECO Environmental family of brands, Peerless Separation & Filtration delivers specialized water solutions that help protect people, equipment, and the planet. Your craft as a Dryer Panel Vane Fabrication Technician directly supports our mission of environmental stewardship and reliability in global industrial operations.
A Day in the Life
You begin by reviewing fabrication drawings and work orders, confirming the correct materials are staged. You program and set up the spot-welding equipment, adjust stops and guides, and secure each workpiece. With pneumatic and filing tools, you select the proper tip size to hold tight weld tolerances. You change out dyes, stamps, and jigs per blueprint specifications, then start the machine and perform precise spot welds to join vane pockets to vane bodies. Quality checks follow—measuring pocket gaps, verifying variances, and conducting shear tests—before reporting results and moving to the next assembly.
