Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (5x8s) or 7:00 AM-5:30 PM (4x10s) | On-call rotation shared with 5 other RNs on weekends
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with and monitor patients undergoing invasive interventional radiology procedures
• Perform and manage conscious sedation under the direct supervision of a radiologist
• Monitor and document patient vitals throughout procedures, maintaining a 1:1 patient-to-RN ratio
• Operate and work alongside imaging equipment including Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ ultrasound machines
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Participate in on-call weekend rotation shared among a team of RNs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Comfort and competency performing conscious sedation under radiologist supervision
• Expected weekly hours of 36

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an interventional radiology or cardiac catheterization lab setting
• Background working in an Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Collaborative, confident practice style with comfort working alongside technologists and fellow RNs in a team-based environment
