Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days (7a-7p) | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite | Float assignment across multiple locations
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional nursing care appropriate to each patient's age and condition in a pediatric cardiovascular ICU setting
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health in alignment with nursing and medical plans of care
- Practice in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards, hospital goals, values, and regulatory standards
- Float between CVPICU, NICU, and PICU units as assigned across multiple facility locations
- Adhere to facility vaccination and masking protocols, including flu vaccination requirements during respiratory virus season (October-April)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a pediatric CVICU
- Current State of Arizona RN license, or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges, or the ability to establish Arizona licensure prior to start date
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
- Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
- ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing
- Ability and willingness to float between NICU and PICU as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience at a facility with a Level III or IV NICU
- Prior experience floating between NICU and PICU environments
- Children's hospital experience
- Current NRP certification
