Electrical Project Engineer

Overview

Title : Project Electrical Engineer (80% Electrical Project Design & 20% PLC troubleshooting)

Location : New Berlin, WI

Pay : $45-$65 per hour + time and a half overtime pay (averaging ~3-5 hours of OT per week)

Type : Contract-to-Hire (9 months to start)

Project Work : 80% electrical design, 20% PLC troubleshooting

Travel : None

Position Summary :

• This engineer will be able to read / design electrical schematics, use AutoCAD Electrical, perform electrical calculations, troubleshoot PLCs using ladder logic and design HMI applications (primarily Rockwell and Siemens), perform field startups & testing, work in industrial environments, have detailed knowledge of electric motor controls, utility circuits, safety circuits, and operator controls.
• This engineer will be able to trouble shoot and resolve problems including but not limited to circuit breakers, transformers, motor starters, contactors, relays, A.C. / D.C. inverters, braking resistors, etc.
