Lead Innovative Electrical Design at HGA. As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will lead and manage large-scale electrical projects and teams locally and nationally. We are looking for an organized, communicative, and effective team player with a passion for high-quality design and innovative problem-solving.
What You'll Do
- Lead electrical design on large-scale projects across sectors including corporate, higher education, and performing arts.
- Manage project teams locally and nationally to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of electrical systems and solutions.
- Develop and review electrical designs (power distribution, lighting, control systems) ensuring codes and client requirements compliance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design professionals.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into innovative, functional designs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and project teams to drive projects forward and meet expectations.
- Assess project requirements, break down work into tasks, determine scope, budget, and staffing; write scopes of work for electrical design; prepare engineering studies and schematic designs; analyze operation of existing systems; present complex analyses clearly to owners and design teams.
- Document existing conditions and perform complex troubleshooting; resolve design conflicts, code issues, varying design options, and difficult conditions; research non-routine code issues and obtain interpretations from code officials; produce sketches and system schematics for complex tasks.
Qualifications
Senior Electrical Project Engineer with experience leading electrical design on large projects.Strong technical leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage local and national project delivery.Experience with power distribution, lighting systems, and control systems; knowledge of applicable codes and client requirements.Ability to write scopes of work, perform engineering studies, and present analyses to stakeholders.Employment type and Location
