Building Automation Systems Engineer Manager

Job Description :

The Building Automation Systems (BAS) Engineering Manager will oversee the design, installation, operation, maintenance, and optimization of building management systems within our data centers. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in BAS, HVAC, electrical systems, and data center operations. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions :

• System Management : Oversee the operation and maintenance of the building management systems, including HVAC, electrical, and other critical infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Optimization : Continuously monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to BMS, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to data center operations.
• Compliance : Ensure all systems comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Project Management : Lead and manage BAS-related projects, including upgrades, installations, and expansions.
• Vendor Coordination : Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Team Leadership : Provide guidance and training to the facilities team on BAS operations and best practices.
• Compliance & Safety : Ensure all activities comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed records of system operations, project progress, and any issues encountered.

Physical Requirements :

Base Pay Range : Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $150,000 - $165,000 . However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications.

Variable Pay : Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.

Location : This role can be remote within the US, with a preference in one of our hub locations (CO, FL, GA, KY, NC, OR, TX, UT).
