What you'll do
-
Support roadway design efforts for FDOT, county, and municipal transportation projects across Florida
-
Prepare and assist in developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for roadway and highway improvements
-
Perform roadway design tasks such as alignments, cross sections, and roadway components using Civil 3D or MicroStation/OpenRoads
-
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teammates and subconsultants to ensure cohesive project deliverables
-
Contribute to QA/QC processes to support high-quality engineering output
-
Ensure design work complies with applicable standards, procedures, and guidelines
-
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
-
7+ years of professional experience in roadway or highway design
-
Experience working on FDOT, county, or municipal transportation projects
-
Proficiency in Civil 3D or MicroStation/OpenRoads
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
-
Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain a PE license

Familiarity with FDOT standards, processes, and production workflows
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills

Experience in horizontal and vertical alignment design and development of roadway construction plan components
