As part of our transportation team, you'll support the delivery of impactful infrastructure projects across the state. You'll apply your roadway and highway design knowledge-particularly with FDOT and local Florida agencies-to solve engineering challenges and help develop innovative, sustainable transportation solutions.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, gaining hands-on experience collaborating with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders. We encourage our team members to explore new ideas and contribute to solutions that enhance everyday mobility.

What you'll do

• Support roadway design efforts for FDOT, county, and municipal transportation projects across Florida

• Prepare and assist in developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for roadway and highway improvements

• Perform roadway design tasks such as alignments, cross sections, and roadway components using Civil 3D or MicroStation/OpenRoads

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teammates and subconsultants to ensure cohesive project deliverables

• Contribute to QA/QC processes to support high-quality engineering output

• Ensure design work complies with applicable standards, procedures, and guidelines

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• 7+ years of professional experience in roadway or highway design

• Experience working on FDOT, county, or municipal transportation projects

• Proficiency in Civil 3D or MicroStation/OpenRoads

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

• Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain a PE license

• Familiarity with FDOT standards, processes, and production workflows

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills

• Experience in horizontal and vertical alignment design and development of roadway construction plan components
