Support the day-to-day flow of purchasing orders for a manufacturing team during an ERP transition. As a Purchasing Coordinator you will generate purchase orders, keep records accurate, and follow up on supplier deliveries. This role is more focused on purchasing administration than strategic sourcing.

This global manufacturer produces precision drive systems used across industrial applications. The role is fully onsite in Bartlett, Illinois, in the purchasing department supporting manufacturing operations.

This temporary assignment offers practical experience with MRP-driven purchasing, supplier follow-up, and a department transitioning from BaaN to SAP. You will work with internal manufacturing and logistics teams on day-to-day order needs. The assignment end date and extension potential are not confirmed.

Job Type: Full Time | Contract (expected to continue at least through March 2027)

Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Generate and enter purchase orders based on MRP demand
• Follow up with suppliers and expedite orders when needed
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and order information
• Communicate supplier delivery status and updates to internal teams
• Support routine purchasing administration during the BaaN-to-SAP transition

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Compensation: $26$30/hr, based on experience

Purchasing Coordinator Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Purchasing, buyer/planner, or order processing experience
• Comfortable entering and processing purchase orders accurately
• Familiarity with ERP or purchasing systems required, BaaN or SAP a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and supplier follow-up skills
