In this full-time position, you will deliver mental health counseling services through a secure, user-friendly video platform, enhancing accessibility for clients in need of support. Your experience and holistic approach will play a crucial role in helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges via teletherapy.

About the Organization

Our emphasis on a flexible schedule allows you to choose your hours, ensuring that your practice aligns seamlessly with your personal commitments. Gain the benefits of working full-time from the comfort of your home while contributing to meaningful client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the behavioral and emotional needs of low-acuity, stable adults.
  • Developing tailored therapy goals and objectives within individual therapy plans to guide treatment outcomes.
  • Providing high-quality, ethical individual counseling through video chat using evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Facilitating insight-oriented sessions that foster clients' self-awareness of their experiences, feelings, and relationships.
  • Monitoring client progress diligently and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to incorporate effective coping mechanisms.
  • Maintaining accurate and concise clinical documentation, minimizing administrative burdens through our support staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on treating stable adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges. These clients may present a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship difficulties. The flexibility of teletherapy allows you to provide support to individuals who may have barriers to accessing traditional in-person counseling, thereby expanding their capacity to achieve better mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • A valid and current state license as a mental health therapist, specifically one of the following: LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
  • Demonstrated ability to practice independently without supervision.
  • No disciplinary actions on your professional license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature to facilitate trust and rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency in navigating technology and adapting quickly to our online therapy platform.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in teletherapy or virtual counseling environments is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and developments in mental health care practices.
  • Background in working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competencies in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with an annual salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with your experience and clinical hours worked. Benefits include:
