Our clinic is staffed by experienced mental health professionals from around the country, all committed to providing exceptional services. We foster an empowering and collaborative workplace culture where our staff can thrive and contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes.

Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote working setting, which allows you to manage your own schedule and work from the comfort of your home or any suitable location. Our community health clinic is designed to support your clinical practice while minimizing administrative burdens, so you can devote more time to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to understand each client’s unique mental health needs, followed by developing evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Implementing a variety of psychotherapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to effectively support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
  • Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring all patient information is managed with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Collaborating closely with members of our multidisciplinary treatment team, enhancing client care through coordinated efforts with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals.
  • Engaging in weekly case consultations and peer review meetings to continually improve service quality within the organization.
  • Providing education, support, and resources to clients and their families about mental health issues and available local support services.
  • Staying informed of current research trends and developments in mental health to integrate innovative practices into your clinical approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Our clinic serves individuals who may face barriers to accessing traditional in-person therapy, allowing you to make a meaningful impact by facilitating their treatment journey in a supportive, stigma-free environment.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid LCSW license in the state of Connecticut.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy services.
  • Expertise in solution-focused interventions and a strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability are essential for developing creative and thoughtful treatment strategies.
  • A collaborative spirit that embraces working within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with a variety of therapeutic methodologies aimed at treating diverse mental health concerns.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms for conducting virtual therapy sessions.
  • A background in community health settings or with underserved populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • A competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans to support your health and well-being.
  • Life and disability insurance coverage to protect you and your family.
  • Malpractice insurance, ensuring peace of mind in your clinical practice.
  • Access to an employee assistance program that offers mental health support and counseling services.
  • Minimal administrative tasks, allowing you to focus more on patient care rather than paperwork.
  • Unlimited referrals, ensuring a steady flow of clients for a fulfilling work experience.
  • Potential for professional development and continuing education support.
