This full-time position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while also serving clients in a school setting. You'll be part of an enthusiastic team that values teamwork, respect, and the exchange of ideas. We utilize a professional billing service that takes care of administrative tasks like claims processing and account receivables, enabling you to focus primarily on delivering quality therapy. The environment is characterized by open communication, professional accountability, and shared resources for optimal efficiency and collaboration.

  • Schedule and manage client appointments efficiently, ensuring an up-to-date calendar and availability for ongoing sessions.
  • Engage in collaborative treatment planning and case consultations with other therapists to create effective treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and their families. You will provide valuable mental health support as students navigate academic pressures and social challenges. By establishing a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, you will help clients build resilience, enhance coping strategies, and work through personal and interpersonal issues, ultimately contributing to improved academic performance and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology is required.
  • Current LCSW license for independent practice in Virginia.
  • Professionalism and a strong adherence to ethical standards, along with excellent therapeutic boundaries.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and organizational skills, capable of managing a full caseload.
  • Cultural competency and an understanding of diverse backgrounds to create inclusive treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with couples and families is highly desirable and may be a significant factor in the selection process.
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting or familiarity with child development and educational systems is advantageous.
  • Continued professional development and specialized training related to therapeutic techniques and modalities will be considered a strong asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a solid hourly compensation as a W2 employee, the position includes:

  • A sign-on bonus available for qualifying candidates.
  • Flexible scheduling options to allow for work-life balance, with the freedom to create a hybrid work-from-home schedule.
  • Fully funded overhead costs, which include office space, an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, office supplies, and malpractice insurance.
