Job Opportunity – Travel RN – Medical Intensive Care Unit – Texas

Start Date: October 20, 2026

Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), weekend rotation required. 36 guaranteed hours per week with potential for 48 hours. No call requirements. 13-week assignment.

• Medical ICU specializing in critically ill patient populations requiring advanced interventions

• Full range of ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage dialysis, Arctic Sun temperature management, and GE cardiac output monitors

• Floating to other units as needed based on hospital census and staffing requirements

Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Texas (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent MICU or Medical Surgical ICU experience required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Competency with ICU procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other advanced critical care procedures
• Professional appearance adhering to facility dress code standards, including royal blue scrubs
