Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their concerns and formulating accurate clinical diagnoses.
• Develop individualized and evidence-based treatment plans that align with clients' goals and objectives, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Provide therapeutic support through individual, group, and family sessions, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring that they receive timely support to stabilize their situation.
• Maintain thorough and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment summaries, in compliance with legal and ethical standards to facilitate ongoing progress monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care, discussing cases during team meetings to develop comprehensive strategies for client improvement.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and community resources, empowering them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their care.
• Engage in self-directed learning and professional development opportunities, attending workshops and trainings to stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and best practices.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C) in the State of Kansas.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic competencies.
• At least two years of relevant mental health counseling experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships.
• Proven ability to work independently while also effectively collaborating with team members.
• A strong commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards in your counseling practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a clinical setting, particularly in community health or non-profit organizations, is highly valued.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and management of client information.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
