Job Opportunity – Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse – Western North Carolina

Schedule: 6-week rotating schedule with 3 weekends required; self-scheduling available
Highlights:
- 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit within a nationally recognized 815-bed hospital system
- Patient ratios: 1:1 to 1:2 in PICU; 1:2 to 1:3 in stepdown areas
- Work with advanced technologies including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and Alaris pumps
- Cerner EMR documentation system
- Float opportunities to Pediatrics and Neonatal ICU for clinical variety

Requirements:
- Current North Carolina RN license or eligibility
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Pediatric ICU experience
- Proficiency in IV starts, catheterizations, central line dressing changes, trach care, tube feeding and placement
- Experience with ventilator management and critical care procedures
