Weekday Tree Farm Cashier (Seasonal)We are looking for daytime help with regular availability Monday-Friday throughout the day.The position of Christmas Tree Cashier is vital to our continued success as a family company. Other duties may be assigned.Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone while maintaining a professional and respectful attitude.Perform information and cashier servicesMust be able to identify the various Christmas Tree Varieties.Must be competent and able to work with our cash register and credit card machine to assist customers to the fullest extentHave a full understanding of the plantation and where different tree varieties are located.Must be able to handle a high volume of customersMaintain a positive and professional attitude in a team environmentKeep clear of debris and maintain a safe and presentable work stationAble to take direction and work on a teamWilling to work weekends or overtime as neededAble to assist with tree handling between cashingQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. For heavier merchandise lifting devices and/or assistance is required.Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions. This is a smoke-free environment for safety reasons.
