Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ psychological, emotional, and social needs, developing personalized treatment plans that address specific challenges.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Act as an advocate for clients, connecting them with appropriate community resources, support groups, and additional care services as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in documentation.
• Engage in regular supervision and consultation with peers to enhance clinical skills and ensure quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on serving a diverse client base, including children, families, and couples facing a variety of mental health concerns. This includes but is not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and co-occurring disorders. Your sensitive and informed approach will be critical in helping clients feel understood and empowered throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (LCSW), Counseling (LPCC), or Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), or a closely related field is required.
• Must hold an active license in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated proficiency in current principles, practices, and techniques in individual and family counseling is essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, with a strong background in treating individuals with behavioral health challenges, including co-occurring disorders and substance abuse.
• Conversational fluency or experience working with diverse populations and various age groups.
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits

BlueHeal offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with your level of experience and expertise.
