TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Danbury, North Carolina, 27016!

Job Title: Skilled Nursing Home Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Long-Term Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required, traveler experience preferred. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: BLS certification required, PointClickCare experience required. Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. - Experience in skilled nursing. - Familiarity with LTC practices and procedures. Description: Locals approved with travel rate. RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be negotiated onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation. The manager has indicated an average acuity level is very low. The ratios are 1:20 from 7 PM to 11 PM with a heavier medication pass. Patients only have pills on the morning medication pass and blood sugars. The unit has a total of 36 residents with a capacity of 40 beds. There are two CNAs available to assist on the unit. From 7 PM to 11 PM there will be two nurses on duty. After 11 PM, the staffing will be reduced to one nurse. Required skills include nursing home experience, assessment of blood pressure, glucose monitoring, insulin administration, and colostomy care. Knowledge of infection control, fall risk assessment, and emergency procedures is essential. Patient diagnoses include geriatric care with residents who may benefit from assisted living but choose to stay in skilled nursing. Experience with documentation in PointClickCare is necessary. Weekend work is required every other weekend. No float or call requirements. This role involves a variety of nursing responsibilities and competencies.
