Job Details

• Position: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

• Location: Lenoir City, Tennessee (TN)

• Organization: MinuteClinic CVS Health

• Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week

• Clinic Hours:

  • ️ Monday Friday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM

  • ️ Saturday: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

  • ️ Sunday: 9:00 AM 4:30 PM

• Work Arrangement: Remote, with the possibility of onsite work in the future

• Start Type: Individual starts

• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Rotating weekends and possible holiday shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family healthcare, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health conditions.

• Conduct routine examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic tests.

• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, preventive care, and chronic disease management.

• Develop and coordinate comprehensive care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

• Manage patient follow-ups and promote positive health outcomes.

• Support behavioral health, wellness, and preventive health initiatives.

• Handle clinic administrative duties, including appointment management, inventory, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment.

• Encourage patients to take an active role in their healthcare and overall well-being.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Nurse Practitioner experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care.

• Master s degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program.

• Current national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

• Active NP license in Tennessee, in good standing.

• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).

• Knowledge of chronic disease management and quality measurement.

• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and collaborate with a clinical care team.

• Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare technology.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses if required.

️ Important Requirements

• Prior primary care or urgent care experience is mandatory. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

• All MinuteClinic positions are safety-sensitive.

• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.

• The role may require rotating weekends and holiday coverage.

• Candidates must provide screenshots of their current BLS certification and NP license.

• Additional training and compliance requirements may apply.
