Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly financial close and reporting: This includes preparing journal entries, conducting analyses, addressing inquiries, and reviewing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP, local standards, and company policies.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly fixed asset reporting deliverables, including but not limited to journal entries, account reconciliations, accrual analyses, and depreciation forecasts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support audits: Partner with various internal departments finance teams, and coordinate with internal/external auditors to provide necessary documentation.
• Contribute to project accounting and financial reporting: Review capital budgets, ensure proper asset capitalization and depreciation, monitor CIP balances, and assist in preparing consolidated and subsidiary financial statements, SEC filings, earnings releases, and investor materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field is required
• 2-3+ years of accounting experience
• Proficient with computer experience in an accounting general ledger system, i.e., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; advanced Microsoft Excel skills, GAAP
• Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to interact and support the staff and management effectively
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure on tight deadlines
