Job Title: Operating Room Nurse (RN) Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 24 months of operating room experience required; Must have 3 months minimum of current travel experience within the previous 18 months. License: Active Iowa license or compact multistate license required. Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) required. Must-Have: - Proficiency in orthopedic and neurology surgery required. - Proficiency in general and gynecological surgery required. - Proficiency in operating DaVinci robotics required. - Experience in urology and podiatry preferred. - EPIC charting experience required. - Scrub experience preferred. Description: We are seeking a qualified Operating Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 24 months of recent operating room experience in a hospital or medical center setting. Experience in orthopedic and neurology surgeries is essential. Candidates must also be proficient in general and gynecological surgeries. Familiarity with operating DaVinci robotics is required. Experience in urology and podiatry is highly preferred. The nurse will be responsible for collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Candidates should have experience with EPIC charting. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. The nurse will be expected to work flexible hours as required by the unit's needs. Job responsibilities include maintaining a sterile environment, assisting during surgical procedures, and monitoring patient recovery.
