Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 Years License: Active RN License (Compact or State) Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: - Circulator experience for C-sections - Teaching attitude and team player mindset - Rural healthcare experience preferred Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. The position involves various shifts throughout the week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and experience as a circulator for C-sections. A teaching attitude and the ability to work as a team player are essential. Experience in rural healthcare is preferred, but first-time travelers are accepted. Weekend shifts are required based on unit needs, with a minimum of 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Certifications required include NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN Intermediate. Candidates must have these certifications in hand or provide proof of enrollment in the classes. Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required. The charting system used is Epic. Special requirements include experience as a circulator and a desire to mentor other RNs. The unit consists of 10 beds, with 5 for labor and delivery and 5 for postpartum care.
