The company designs, builds and ships custom store fixtures, displays and full store build-outs for national brands, plus event builds. Today the CEO handles the engineering on every project, and the business has outgrown that. You become the first dedicated engineer, running the function from day one and growing it into a team.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲

• You have engineered and built in wood and metal, and you want to do all of it: design it in CAD, program it, and solve it at the machine.

• You are sharp, driven, hands-on and mechanically curious across industries.

• You like a lean custom shop where you might engineer a table one day and a gazebo the next.

Not for you if you want a big engineering department already in place, or a desk job away from the shop floor.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘄𝗻

• Engineering on every active project: design, drawing packages, revision control and how it gets built.

• Programming and running the CNC for wood and cabinet-style work, plus metal machines.

• Prototypes through repeat production, designed to ship flat or pre-built and install cleanly in the field.

• Specs, first-article review and site visits with manufacturing partners, domestic and overseas.

• The technical voice in client design meetings and quoting.

• Lean (5S) improvement, engineering standards, and training the builders who work from your drawings.

• Hiring the engineers who join you as the team grows.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴

• Hands-on engineering and building in wood and metal, ideally from store fixtures, furniture or millwork.

• Production-ready computer-aided design (CAD): 3D models and full shop drawing packages on your own.

• Hands-on computer numerical control (CNC) programming and operation: toolpaths, nesting, setup and troubleshooting.

• Designs taken from concept through prototype to repeat production.

• Comfort juggling several projects and talking engineering with clients and suppliers.

• Willingness to travel to builds, installs and partner facilities.

• A degree is welcome, but your build history counts most.

𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀

• Spanish.

• Metal fabrication programming, plus powder coat, acrylic and molded parts.

• Overseas contract manufacturing.

• Flat-pack and knock-down fixture design.

• Experience leading drafters, engineers or a build crew.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀

• $120,000 to $150,000 base, depending on experience.

• Medical, dental and vision, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off plus holidays.

• Full-time and on-site, with travel for builds, installs and partner visits.
