Job Title: Neuro PCU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Duration: Travel Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Neuro experience, experience with Cardene and Cleviprex, ability to read EKG rhythms Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in Neuro care. The unit consists of 52 beds with a patient-nurse ratio of 4:1. Travelers may float between different areas of the Neuro Floor. Nurses will be expected to handle patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. Candidates must have specific experience in Neuro nursing. Experience with Cardene and Cleviprex administration is required. The ability to read and interpret EKG rhythms is necessary. Candidates must verify degree accreditation or have 5 years of relevant experience. A culture of collaboration is emphasized, and travelers are expected to integrate with core staff. All requirements and qualifications must be met to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
