Material Handler With Sit Down Forklift 2nd Shift
El Paso, TX
Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move, transport, load, and unload materials, pallets, containers, and finished products.
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments from trailers, trucks, and designated staging areas.
Receive, inspect, identify, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
Move raw materials, work-in-process items, and finished goods to designated storage locations or production areas.
Supply production lines and workstations with the materials needed to maintain workflow and minimize downtime.
Store materials properly and maintain organized warehouse aisles, racks, staging areas, and inventory locations.
Perform inventory transactions, material counts, and location updates using inventory management systems or warehouse documentation.
Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment preferred.
Current OSHA forklift certification.
Knowledge of safe forklift operation, pallet handling, loading and unloading, and material storage practices.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, shipping documents, labels, and inventory information.
Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems or warehouse management systems preferred.
