An international manufacturer of automotive parts in theNorthwest of Indianapolis area is seeking for a Production Manager. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in metal stamping operation.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Supervise and lead production employees and provide guidance and training.
• Monitor production schedules, staffing, and workflow.
• Identify and resolve production issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient production environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in production or manufacturing management.
• Experience with metal stamping required
• Experience with welding, assembly, or similar manufacturing processes is a plus
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or quality systems is a plus.
• Able to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 30 pounds
