We are partnering with a well-established, multidisciplinary pain management and rehabilitation medical group that has served patients throughout Northern California for more than 30 years to find an experienced or newly trained Physiatrist (PM&R Physician) to join their collaborative care team in the Saratoga/South Bay area. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician with an interest in brain injury medicine, pain management, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation to practice in a structured outpatient environment while working alongside a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

• Setting: Outpatient Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation / Pain Management Clinic

• Patient Population: Adults with brain injuries, chronic pain, musculoskeletal conditions, and work-related injuries
\n
• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
\n
• Location: Saratoga / South Bay, CA
\n
• Call Schedule: No nights or weekends
\n
• Start Date: Flexible

• Experience: Open to experienced physicians and new PM&R graduates
\n
• Workers' Compensation: Experience preferred, but not required
\n

About the Role\n

The Physiatrist will provide outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with a range of physical medicine and rehabilitation needs, with a particular emphasis on brain injury and pain management. This position offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary model alongside other physicians and rehabilitation professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and help patients progress toward improved function and return to daily activities and work.

The ideal physician will have a genuine interest in brain injury and pain management and enjoy collaborating with other healthcare professionals in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive outpatient PM&R evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans
\n
• Evaluate and manage patients with brain injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal conditions
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on function, recovery, and quality of life
\n
• Provide ongoing management and follow-up based on patient progress
\n
• Collaborate with other physicians and rehabilitation professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and care coordination
\n
• Support patients working toward functional restoration and return to work when appropriate
\n
• Evaluate work-related injuries and participate in Workers' Compensation care when applicable
\n
• Review medical records, diagnostic studies, and clinical history to support treatment decisions
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
\n
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, referring providers, and members of the care team
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active and unrestricted California Medical License — required
\n
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) — required
\n
• PM&R training and clinical background — required
\n
• Strong interest in brain injury and pain management — required
\n
• Ability to work comfortably in an outpatient, multidisciplinary environment — required
\n
• Workers' Compensation experience — preferred, but not required
\n
• Experience treating brain injuries, chronic pain, or rehabilitation patients — preferred
\n
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
\n
• Open to experienced physicians as well as new PM&R graduates
\n

Compensation is based on experience:
