Pay rate: $160/hr.- $180/hr. on w2\n
Duration: 6 months to Long term\n
Shift: 08:00am-04:00pm (M-F)\n
Shifts/week: 2 Shifts/week\n

Summary:\n

\nSearching for a board-certified psychiatrist to provide part-time on-site services (minimum of 2-day shifts/week) to the male population at this facility. Will also accept full-time services, although those additional hours may be utilized to provide coverage to other facilities via telehealth or to provide on-site services at the male correctional facility located across the street. Schedule is weekdays (no nights, weekends, or holidays). Start/end times are somewhat flexible based on the needs of the facility. Selected psychiatrist will meet with 12-16 patients per 8-hour shift. Assignment is projected to last 6 months and may be extended based on mutual agreement. Assignment could lead to permanent hire. Both a phone interview and on-site meeting/tour will be required. \n

Job Description:\n

\n• Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system\n

\n• Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports\n

\n• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing\n

\n• Managing medication\n

\n• Making referrals for specialized care or treatment\n

\n• Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards\n

\n• Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews\n

\n• Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed\n

\n

Required: \n

\n• BLS/ CPR certification\n

\n• Drug Enforcement Administration certification. \n

\n• Copy of Board Certification\n

\n• Ohio Medical License \n
