Dumper Attendant

Dumper Attendant$17.00/hour1st or 2nd Shift6:30am - 3:00pm or 2:45pm - 11:00pmDumper Attendant Responsibilities:- Operate hydraulic operated lift that dumps frozen vegetables from a tote onto the packaging line- Support packaging line by ensuring a consistent flow of product, monitoring quality and assisting with equipment setup and changeovers- Dump product onto the line for packaging- Ensure steady flow of product- Chop frozen product when necessary to ensure constant flow of product- Monitor product quality and remove any defective or foreign materials before packaging- Assist with setup and changeover of the line for different product runs- Report any equipment malfunctions or irregularities in product flow to the supervisor immediately- Ensure proper stacking and alignment of product on the line to prevent jams or damage- Communicate with forklift drivers to ensure availability of product to run line and to have empty totes removed- Communicate with machine operators to maintain desired flow of product or changes in production codes- Participate in shift handovers to ensure smooth transition and continuity of operations- Collaborate with quality assurance personnel to meet product specifications and standards- Provide timely updates to team leads or supervisors regarding production delays or issuesRequirements for Dumper Attendant:- High School Diploma or GED, preferred- Previous related experience and/or training preferred- Able to lift and/or move a bar weighing up to 30 lbs- Able to work at elevated position, working on platform 40 feet above main floorIND043Why Work with QPS?- Access to sought-after positions with leading employers- Dedicated placement specialists who will guide you through every step of the job search processBest of all, our job matching and resume assistance services are 100% free to job seekers!
