• Work in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

• FQHCs qualify for Federal and State sponsored loan repayment programs. The current facility scores within the system are 21.

• Opportunity to teach students and residents serving a patient population primarily composed of an underserved community

• The clinical practice includes L&D, neonatal and general pediatric surgery, general surgery, robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn, level I trauma, orthopedics, podiatric surgery, and special procedures outside the OR
\n
• Complete gynecological services, including annual well-woman exams
\n
• Contraceptive counseling and management, and family planning
\n
• Diagnosis and treatment of sexually-transmitted infections and diseases (STD)
\n
• Endometrial ablations
\n
• Maternity and delivery care
\n
• Patient education and counseling
\n
• Perimenopausal and menopausal care
\n
• Treatment of gynecological issues, including:
• Abnormal bleeding - Chronic pelvic pain - Difficult or painful sexual intercourse - Dilation and curettage - Dysfunctional uterine bleeding - Endometriosis - Menstrual cramping - Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) - Vaginal/vulvar disorders
