Job Description
About the Opportunity\n
\n- Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join an outpatient clinic team at a mission-driven rural community hospital\n
\n- Full-time or Part-time options\n
\n- Comprehensive endocrine care focusing on chronic disease management and patient education\n
Key Responsibilities\n
\n- Evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and osteoporosis\n
\n- Comprehensive consultations and follow-ups in an outpatient setting\n
\n- Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure continuity of care\n
\n- Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and imaging studies relevant to endocrine diseases\n
\n- Initiate and manage insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring systems, and other endocrine-related devices and therapies\n
\n- Participate in call coverage for outpatient endocrinology as needed (minimal or no inpatient call)\n
Qualifications\n
\n- MD or DO from an accredited medical school\n
\n- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship\n
\n- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism\n
\n- Valid and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) to practice in New York\n
\n- DEA certification and ability to obtain hospital privileges\n
Preferred Experience\n
\n- Familiarity with managing complex endocrine conditions in outpatient settings\n

\n- Salary range: $206,000 " $340,000 based on experience, with guaranteed base plus incentive package\n
