Application / Integrations Engineer (Hybrid Remote)

This position allows for 2 days per week remote / work from home.

Salary: $110,000 - 140,000/year

In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders across finance, marketing, and operations to optimize performance, build robust integrations, and drive continuous automation. You'll work across a versatile tech stack combining SQL, cloud infrastructure (Azure), API integrations, and workflow automation tools (Power Automate, Boomi).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain seamless application integrations using REST APIs, PowerShell, C#, and modern iPaaS tools (Boomi).
• Eliminate manual bottlenecks by building scalable business workflows using Power Automate and custom scripting.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, build SSRS reports, and manage data integration/ETL workflows (SSIS) across our core business platforms.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Support: Manage Azure enterprise applications, including Azure AD app registrations, single sign-on/authentication, and modern data platforms (Azure Fabric).
• System Administration & Health: Ensure the stability and security of our Windows Server and SQL Server environments through active monitoring, patching, performance tuning, and scheduled maintenance.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner with business teams and vendors to troubleshoot complex system issues and recommend forward-thinking tech solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing, supporting, or engineering enterprise applications in a production environment.
• Proficient in writing/tuning SQL queries, managing SSIS packages, and building SSRS reports. Basic database administration skills (jobs, maintenance plans, tuning) are a plus.
• Integration & Scripting Skills: Hands-on experience developing against APIs using PowerShell, C#, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience streamlining business processes with tools like Power Automate, Boomi, or custom scripts.
• Solid foundation in Windows Server administration and working knowledge of Azure Enterprise Apps / Azure AD authentication.
• Strong analytical mindset with clear, adaptable communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.
