Transportation Engineer (PE)

A well-established engineering firm in the Clinton Township area is looking for a licensed Transportation Engineer to lead roadway and transportation projects from planning through construction. You'll work directly with state DOT, county, and municipal clients on the infrastructure their communities depend on.

What you'll do

• Lead the design of roadway, intersection, and highway improvement projects.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Run traffic analyses and support studies, permitting, and funding applications.
• Coordinate with DOT, county, and city clients and review staff work for quality.
• Support construction-phase questions and plan revisions.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• An active Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Experience with state DOT or municipal transportation projects.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage several projects at once.
