Job Summary

STAFFXPERT is Looking for a skilled Full Stack Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Apache Kafka, and Amazon MSK. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in full-stack application development, building scalable microservices, developing RESTful APIs, and creating user interfaces using Angular or React.

The candidate must have strong technical problem-solving skills, experience working in enterprise environments, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This position requires working onsite in Jersey City, NJ, five days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain Java-based applications and software components.
• Build scalable and reliable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful web services and APIs.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular or React.
• Design and implement event-driven applications using Apache Kafka and Amazon MSK.
• Utilize AWS services to develop, deploy, and support cloud-based applications.
• Work with Hibernate, Spring Data JPA, and relational databases to implement efficient data access solutions.
• Analyze existing applications, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and software development best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, designers, and system administrators to ensure seamless application integration.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java 8+ features, collections, multithreading, and object-oriented programming.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience using Angular or React.
• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing RESTful web services.
• 5+ years of experience building scalable, distributed microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Amazon MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka).
• Experience with Hibernate, Spring Data JPA, and related Java frameworks.
• Proficiency in Maven or Gradle and Git-based version control.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
