Documentation Engineer / Technical Writer

Meta Reality Labs is seeking an experienced Documentation Engineer / Technical Writer to document our industry-leading software and technology for developers around the world. Our team teaches some of the world's most brilliant engineers how to build incredibly complex applications and experiences. This Documentation Engineer will have a demonstrated track record of effectively capturing and communicating technical concepts related to software development procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain API and SDK documentation and related development materials
• Work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure quality and accuracy of content
• Design, draft, and edit technical and process documentation
• Support the release and adoption of software
• Support multiple programming languages and development platforms
• Create and maintain code samples and sample applications, as needed
• Set and monitor team goals that meet organizational direction

$143,000 / year to $200,000 / year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
