Job Overview

Santor Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.

Install, maintain, and repair wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.

Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks.

Conduct tests using ohmmeters, ammeters, voltmeters, and other testing devices to ensure proper functionality.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform timely repairs.

Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.

Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

Perform low-voltage installations as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low-voltage applications.

Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.

Familiarity with power tools and electrical testing equipment (ohmmeters, ammeters, voltmeters, etc.).

Basic skills in frame carpentry (a plus).

Ability to work independently or as part of a team while adhering to safety protocols.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Valid electrician’s license or certification (preferred).
