- We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Lead Developer to lead the design, development, modernization, and support of critical mainframe applications.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in IBM mainframe technologies, leadership capabilities, and experience managing development teams while delivering high quality solutions aligned with business , develop, and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB, VSAM, MQ Series.
- Participate in architecture discussions and modernization application design, development, testing, deployment, and support activities.
- Review technical solutions and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Estimate effort, create development plans, and track project deliverables.
- Coordinate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and project risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones.Support API enablement and integration of mainframe applications with distributed systems.
- Participate in cloud, DevOps, and digital transformation initiatives.Contribute to mainframe modernization strategies and automation efforts.
- Lead a team of mainframe developers and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
