Physical Therapy Assistant

We have an exciting PTA contract opportunity at a forensic psych facility. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and functional ability.Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Lead therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the PT.
• Document services per facility standards.
• Follow safety and security protocols in a forensic environment.

Qualifications

• Active California PTA license.
• Experience in hospital, rehab, or similar clinical setting.
• Ability to work safely and professionally in a secure facility.
