IT Security Manager

Salary: $74,000 - 96,000 per year

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or an additional four years of experience
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in application security, cybersecurity, access management, and network security
• Experience with SIEM, WAF, EDR, XDR, SSO, MFA, and other security technologies
• Hands-on experience with IAM tools, particularly Okta, is a plus
• Knowledge of SOX controls, segregation of duties, and financial application security is a plus
• Healthcare experience, including familiarity with HIPAA, is a plus
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• CISSP, CCNP, CRISC, or another relevant certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement IT security solutions while overseeing day-to-day security operations
• Maintain and improve our enterprise security posture, including access controls, role-based security, and network security
• Administer and monitor access to applications and systems, with a focus on financial systems and SOX compliance
• Lead our Okta implementation and administer and monitor other cybersecurity tools
• Ensure application security and access controls meet SOX requirements
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors on testing and remediation
• Monitor security tools for unusual access patterns and policy violations
• Assess applications periodically to identify and mitigate risks
• Work with application owners and vendors to resolve vulnerabilities and apply security best practices
• Develop remediation plans and oversee their implementation
• Create, maintain, and enforce application security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with corporate governance and compliance frameworks
• Support audit and compliance requirements in coordination with the IT SOX Manager and internal audit team
