Bill Matlock Insurance Agency is hiring Insurance Sales Representatives, and you don’t need sales experience or an insurance license to apply. You’ll work by phone and video, helping customers find the right coverage, with a base salary for stability and commission that rewards your results.
Your Customer Service Experience Counts
If you’ve calmed down a frustrated customer, explained a complicated policy in simple terms, or helped someone choose between options, you already have the core skills for this job. Insurance sales is about listening, asking good questions, and helping people make a decision they feel good about. We’ll teach you the products and the sales process.
What You’ll Do
- Reach out to prospective customers by phone and video and introduce our insurance solutions
- Ask good questions to understand what each customer needs
- Explain products, coverage options, and policy details in plain language
- Guide customers from the first conversation through application and policy placement
- Follow up consistently and help customers feel confident in their decision
- Keep customer records, activity, and follow-ups accurate and current
- Work with the team to make every customer’s experience smooth and positive
How You Get Paid
- Base salary plus commission
- $40K–$75K OTE annually
- OTE (on-target earnings) is what a rep earns by hitting the agency’s sales targets
- Your commission grows as you build your book of business and sharpen your skills

Must have:

- Confident and clear communicating by phone, video, and email
- Organized, with strong follow-through
- Self-motivated, dependable, and professional
- Willing to get licensed
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Mobile device and reliable home internet
- 18 or older
- Able to pass a background check
Nice to have: experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, call centers, banking, or front desk roles; sales or insurance experience is a plus
